Older generations of Singaporeans know the area stretching from
Bukit Merah Central to Lengkok Bahru to Delta Swimming Complex as
Redhill. Informal of course.
If you take 14, 196 or 197 from Bedok to Bukit Merah, it should
take 1 hour 15 minutes or so (with no heavy traffic jams esp
through Orchard area).
14 and 197 travel the stretch from bus stop outside McDonalds Bukit
Merah to Alexandra Village, before making a left turn to reach the
AYE entrance to Clementi/Jurong East respectively.
