That is correct. However, we are thinking of improvements to the service. Personally I still think the Express sector is hindering progress. It is delibrat...

Strange? it calls u to board at soon lee depot? for the free gift.

SBS BUSES LOVER SG

ya , there is boarding at soon lee depot . got free gift . most prob they will put a berth there i guess .

it also acts as an unofficial EB like svc 502

SBS9889U SG

502 should be made to start/end from Soon Lee too.

SBS BUSES LOVER SG

yes . agreed

i guess , these buses will be in the svc 185 fleet: as these buses were seen doing training .

305Y , 336H , 527Z , 548M , 3757G , 3810K , 3858Z , 3880H , 3903B , 3915S

surprisingly 2784J was seen doing training yesterday @ 2.30pm jurong west avenue 5 , on svc 185

how many buses will be in the fleet since the frequency is 15 minutes

I have a question: As those frequent travellers of 181 should know that Jurong West Avenue 3 is only built halfway so it U-turn at the point where the road ahead is still with construction. Since it now seems like Jurong West Avenue 3 is completed (since 185 can pass through Jurong West Ave 3 to Jurong West St 24 (which till recently is still not completed) and then Street 23,) then how will 181 U Turn?

Keep seeing Strider and DM 3500 on svc 192? is it some of the bus used for svc 185?

chickenlittle2 SG

No la, I think it turn out to the 199 route then turn to the 157 route (Boys Town) then go the same route as svc 157.

cash cow! Confused

interesting... Laughing

Donavan SG

Strider = 2647Y?
DM3500 = 2702X?

SBS BUSES LOVER SG

according to wiki , 2702X is SP , think 9098K replaced it on svc 30
dunno about 2647Y , most prob holiday timetables so temp SP

1718H is already a perm on 333 repalcing 390A !

Donavan SG

No leh, 9098K still SL SP.

autumncs SG

Hmm… I feel that 185 should go past Dover Rd leh… like 74… so that it can serve places like ACJC, Ayer Rajah industrial estate, ACS, etc. Anyway there is nothing along C’wealth Ave West between North Buona Vista Rd and Singapore Poly…

SBS9888Y SG

yup...

105090 SG

the bus brings ppl to holland drive.. you can cross the road and take the ayer rajah services like 91 95 and 200.. this also lessen the crowd at buona vista MRT

FYI, parts of Jurong West St 23/24 was opened to traffic ever since Corporation Pri Sch shifted to Jurong West St 24 from old bldg at Boon Lay Ave.

1. Jurong West St 24 is aft the Service 181's first bus stop along Jurong West Ave 3.
Click here to see Jurong West St 23/24

2. Service 181 will U-turn at a specially built U-turn point aft Jurong West Ave 3/St 22*/St 25 Junction.
*St 22 is not open to traffic.
Click here to view Jurong West Ave 3/St 22/St 25 Junction

SBS 233 X SG

I think SBS9080K should be the one replacing SBS2702X on 30.
