btw, took 960 on 22nd OCT 2006 sunday..

wtf.. o405 volgren on SVC 960.. boarded it at the bus stop outside bt panjang plaza.. so packed.. everyone was like saying to their friends/family like wat the hell.. not a bendy bus..

anyway when the bus reached Bankit (still at bt panjang), as usual, so many passengers at this particular bus stop.. i pity those poor ppl who waited so long and cant board the bus..

SVC 960 is taken by so many aunties/uncles gg to waterloo to pray, bangala to little india and youngsters gg to bugis..

SVC 960 IS THE ONLY BUS TO BUGIS FROM WOODLANDS / BT PANJANG WITH SO HIGH PASSENGER RATE + LOW FREQUENCY (15-20MINS/BUS) SO I SEE NO REASON WHY THEY SHOULD BE USING RIGID BUSES IN THE FIRST PLACE REGARDLESS OF SUN/PH OR WATSOEVER..

And btw, enquired from my BC friend tat SMRT is cutting cost tat is why they deploy rigid buses instead of bendys..

Y cut cost when u have raised fares?? no sense..

Yesterday waited 20mins for 960!!!!! Seen very few bendies nowadays, especially those at Bukit Panjang interchanges, say 176 , 180 , 184, WHAT THE HELL ! POOR BP RESIDENTS! SBSTransit good loh, got B9TLs etc..... Only some buses slow, nvm, at least better than SMRT, SBST= Slower buses, but no shortages of buses, + got newer better buses; SMRT = Faster buses but RIGIDS!! SO damn cramp, very few bendies at BP!!!! Evil or Very Mad 960 at 9pm still so pack. SBST B9TLs like kosong der..... SMRT oso got no new buses, CAC O405 windows got algae liao and stinking... EVERYTIME GOT THE STUPID SMELL WHEN SIT AT WINDOWS!!! Miss those TIBS days, got opening ceremony, introduction of new buses, better paint not cheap cheap one lyk SMRT stickers and wheel paint.... BTW rigids on 960 is not uncommon, especially durin weekends.

1429 hrs: Bunching was seen again, this time between two double deckers of service 22. Their registration were SBS 9079R and SBS 9184U. This occured at Bedok Reservior Road, opposite the condominium 'The Clearwater'. Both buses were heading to Tampines Bus Interchange.

Not sure about the time: Bunching was seen again, but this time with SMRT buses. TIB 1206A, a bendy bus and the other one which I forgot it's registration was a normal bus with a Mercedes logo. This happened at Bedok North Avenue 3, the T-junction linking to Bedok North Street 1. Both buses were heading towards Tampines Bus Interchange.
