imagine all the road taxes, import duties, etc which a vehicle
pays
example: subaru Impreza, Cost about $30,000, Import Duty: 110% =
$33,000.
Add in GST 55 = $3,150. Add in COE about $12,000.
thats nearly $80,000.. not forgetting parking, summons, inspection
fee, and petrol tax (50cents/litre), insurance and
depreciation
whos going broke?
