Last time, I still remember on 1250X on 187, everyone around me was complaing about the bus.

I was sitting at the 2nd most rear seat (next to emergency exit). No one sat behind me, since legroom was just 10cm. In front of me, the 2 passengers said the bus like from 1980s, A/C not enough. Then I heard the person on the left of me and diagonally left also said A/C lousy. Laughing

TIB1018B SG

This kind of buses don't deserve to have any passengers at all Mr. Green

PS: Once I seen TIB1254K on service 980 on a Sunday night and that bus was totally kosong Laughing

TIB1018B SG

Mixture of OAC and CAC Nissans Mr. Green

MuLaFlaga SG

Hey, too bad ,they are still in revenue service for at least a few years. Evil or Very Mad

Should not even purchase the Nissans in the first place.

anti_NISSAN_U31 SG

throw them away lah...... Evil or Very Mad

jetabt767400 SG

Totally agree...
Saw 1254K on 178 today, everyone on board had black faces, in the morning...
What a bad luck to have it start your day, and people on 371L opposite towards Woodlands have a nicer face...
A good verse from the present day...
Throw away the Nissans, SMRT, throw away the Nissans...
Cannot you hear that we are complaining...
AC not strong, engine so weak, ayoh, ayoh...
Throw away the Nissans, throw away the Nissans, SMRT...

really pity.. European buses are preferred over Japanese buses...

for cars, its Japanese cars havng an edge over the continental cars..

theres so many continental cars like SAAB, Rover, Ford, Renault, Chevrolet, Daewoo, Chrysler available locally, but only BMW and Mercedes has some buyers Wink

TIB1018B SG

TIB371L and TIB1254K doesn't make any difference what...both are equally old Nissans (except one OAC and one CAC)

TIB1018B SG

It's a pity to throw them away Crying or Very sad

Anyway I suggest to sell them to 3rd world countries like India and Bangladesh Laughing The low class Indians will love it man Cool

jetabt767400 SG

Heehee, the Indians have te skill: sit on top of the bus.
Iraq, hmm, they blow the bus into peices, not good not good...
Ok, then send them to India then...

stooper SG

Later when the Indians see the bus, they laugh since the Indian NAC hang everywhere buses are better than the lousy Nissans! Laughing

Then they think the whole Singapore use these lousy buses...

MuLaFlaga SG

They are worth a few million bucks (Actual value i Dont Know!) for the whole fleet. Throwing would be a waste coz they will not gain anything. If they really do throw it away, be mentally prepared for a fare hike excuse by SMRT : Moving People, Enchancing Lives.(................... Crappy slogan. Look at their Nissans and the above post by jetabt767400 Mad )

I suggest to SMRT, change the body of the Nissans to Volgren, change their engine and wheels, rebadge them to mercedes to hide their true identity (they did it on one Dennis Lance, it became a merc)

http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2015.html. A Japan bus travelling webby. Have a Picture of a Hino bus. At least it looks a bit more modern then the Nissans we have.

MuLaFlaga SG

Dude, show some respect. They are not Low Class. Mad . Respect people and their culture from other countries. You wont like it if they say Singapore is a low class, dirty etc etc country , right? Wink

anti_NISSAN_U31 SG

if tat's d case, remove all d CAC nissans Evil or Very Mad

Volvo Olympian SG

Volvo Olympian SG

jetabt767400 SG

This thread have transformed frm discussion on Service 980 to CAC Nissans.
CAC Nissan on 178, good, flies down the road, but a/c not strong also no use. Seriously the Nissan can travel 50-60km/h on Woodlands Road, but not any more amazing, plus a/c not strong, what's the use, right?

anti_NISSAN_U31 SG

discussion still related, svc 980 gotta do wif cac nissans 3-4 woodlands cac nissan always seen on svc 980 Evil or Very Mad

anyway cac nissans all useless vehicles, throw them away, d faster d better Twisted Evil
