Maybe it is due to tighten security check by the Airport Police or due to some fault with the barrier?

All these may cause buses (SBST and SMRT inclusive) which called at PT1/2 to be severely affected and late.

Just my 2 cents of thought

Oh yes, forgot to add in. After that 858 finally came, the whole bus was already full, at the T2 police checkpoint, the police who came up to check didnt even check half the bus before giving up, totally packed to the door. Some passengers at T2 didnt get onboard too.

Not sure, nvr went to the airport.

But quite evident that something happened as every stop along tampines 5,4 n 7 got about 80 ppl waiting for svc 27 Shocked

But Ikea stop best, whole stop flooded, then a passenger on the bus waving bye at them as the bus went passed Laughing

Hear bef can have 2 Sv 966 bus come together

But 40 mins is better than waiting for bus at RSAF Open Hse somemore ended up delayed along the way + see so many ppl fed up cannot board the bus

Anyway, 857 was a lot worse yesterday morning at 8am. Had its queues stretch from the berth all the way till Northpoint. ... and it gives you the illusion that people were queuing for 85 Very Happy .

238 has been a long queue ever since 237 withdrawn? Not sure for this...

S237 was integrated with S232. It has nothing to do with S238. S238's all along was this long hence the fast freq.

sv238 has been a high load before sv237 is withdrawn, serving passengers from Lor 8 and TPA Industrial Park.After sv237 was withdrawn, the load get even higher, serving passengers from Kim Keat, Toa Payoh lor 6, east, 7 and 8.Almost serve one part of Toa Payoh. The new sv232 is only useful for passengers to go to Braddell MRT but not for going to TPA Int, because of time consuming.Can see that most passengers take sv238 to lor 7.Did a comparsion before and found out that sv238 is faster and more direct.sv238 from Toa Payoh Int to Toa Payoh East(BLK:25) is equals to sv232 from Toa Payoh Int to Toa Payoh East(BLK:23)
