If you still see gaps in between the passengers, it's not THAT packed. Also, SMRT can justify that their buses can cope with the load as there's no passengers stranded at bus stop.

HOLY COW! I didn’t see a SINGLE BENDY at BP at around 10.30! In the past, during sundays, there is at least 2 bendies! Btw which bendy is your favourite model? The first will have to go to the Volgren bendy, followed by the box bendy. You might be surprised why i like this ugly and lousy bus right? The reason is simple. This bus is so mucher more quieter on the inside(refering to engine noise) as compared to the Habits! I dont have any ear pains after taking a ride on it. Secondly, the bus changes gear rather smoothly(on 190,300 and 176), especially the ones that lock-ups on the first gear! Anyone here are fans of the MKI bendies?

Haha , i was also at BP Int just now too , i only see 1 Bendy parking , which is for Sv 184 (TIB875A)

They got such ruling that less bendys are deployed on sundays to save cost.

Yesterday's bendy deployment on service 980 was not bad what...got at least 3-4 bendies: TIB1055T, TIB1076H and TIB1124C. There was one more which I can't see clearly the rego Wink

Volgren bendy?? HOLY COW! You've seen it? I thought it has only been deployed on 700.

it was like in 2003 or 2004 if im not wrong, BP stopped using Volgren Bendy on 184 totally.. 700 has mixture of habits, type1 and 2 occasionally.. volgren i don think so leh..

Hmm i think i saw a Volgren bendy at BP recently if i didn't see wrong. Rolling Eyes I also heard someone seeing a volgren bendy being deployed on 700 as cameo. Wink

Service 184 control was transferred from WLDEP to KJDEP during that time, of course no more Volgren Bendies lah...KJDEP used the MB0405Gs instead.

Volgren Bendies are O.405Gs. All SMRT bendies are O.405Gs. All except the Volgren Bendies have hispano bodies.

ya.. 920 used to have bendys occasionally due to high volume of passengers around the evening 6-7.30pm as 920 passes by lots of schools + the usual evening rush..

so they wil take out a bendy from either SVC 176/180/184 to cameo on 920.. took it few times but it was last seen in around 2003/4 like tat..
