Last time I remember 187 at the old BNL interchange, the whole
Habit EDS jam up, all the flip-dots oculdn't flip. You could see
the yellow LEDs at an angle, showing 187, but the flip dots were
showing the wrong colour! 
So it seemed like a hologram. At some angles can
see the 187, but at some angles cannot.
Then the BC also dunno how to fix. Waste about 10mins. Then ask
other drivers for help (178 Nissan driver 
), then 3 drivers dunno press what then finally able
to reset it. The EDS flipped column by column to become all yellow.
Then flipped again to become all black.
