157 during like 9+am – 1pm going to Toa Payoh the most lag one, along Adam/Lornie Road let all other vehicles pass. After 2PM not that bad, but the best would be early morning from Toa Payoh, can chiong until Adam Road then get stuck in traffic jam.

not Accurate ?? Erm.. Well i just did the 157 ride just 2 weeks ago onboard a LO3x and the 15mins ride on 161 just 3 weeks ago.. how do you explain ? Itz not accurate. you must pick the right driver with the right bus. Yes.. i do agree that DAFs on 985 can speed. Serangoon Rd > Jln Jurong Kechil in about 9.5mins.. hows that ?

Would it be any chance be 9077X? I was on that bus, also around 2 weeks ago, the driver was chionging back to BNL. He was about 20min early, yet took the short cut (240, 246 route) to BNL...

Hmm, I do feel the Hinos have a good potential to speed. On mornings last year, with some good driver I can reach Dunearn Sec Sch in less than 3 minutes, assuming all lights green and 3 pax on board. The speedster potential are on 947B, 948Z, 950R and 954E, others don't speed well... especially 953H, do not take that one!

My friend experienced Jln Toa Payoh(Trellis Towers) to Jln Jurong Kechil in 3 mins before.
157 normally won't chiong one. I have been rather regular for 157 and so far less than 25% chiong and 50% crawl.
'Crawlsters' include SBS 72 T/SBS 188 T and other WA Mercs. DM normally not so bad. DDs are the faster ones.
