^tamago^ SG yeah, surely typo. i think 700m would cost a bomb to buy, and also to carry around. boon lay may well look like sengkang if they move JIS to joo koon. then boon lay will have very few services running around and will need a small space only........
The_Bus_Guide SG You sure or not? If all the JIS services were taken out, Boon Lay will still have 20 services left. 20 services in not 'very few' if you ask me, unless SBST has other ideas. Still need big space for all that buses. Personally, I think it is impractical to make the JIS end at Joo Koon and all the other services at Boon Lay. If people need a bus connection, then how?

Many other people know about this for a long time too, so who is the one not updated? Like I said, lots of people, lots of buses, so what? Its not like the sky is going to fall or anything.
brotherchen1982 SG Svc 242 buses had 2 routes to the Temp Int during the express sector. 1. use the same route as svc 30/154/240 2. use the same route as svc 157/174/198/199
stooper SG I think they're supposed to use the 157/174 route, but if they're behind schedule, they use the 30/154 route. I was on a 157 today, with the driver on his last round before going home. He was about 10mins early, yet used the 30/154 route!
SBS BUSES LOVER SG yes . usually 179 DD BCs who do 242 take the 154/30/240 route in the morning peak when the DD is super packed . i took 9140X this morning , bus bunched with 9162H & 3820G , 9162H was packed like sardines , 9140X's load managable , 3820G also sardines ! 3820G 's BC took the 174/157 route , while 9140X & 9162H by-passed 3820G and took the 30/154 route ! this morning . this has been going on since the temp int opened . only 179 BCs doing 242 do that ! . especially 9058B's BC , even when bus empty also use shortcut !

stooper SG I've seen the white hair guy take the short cut when he was on his final round. Today, 9058B was on 9140X's timeslot. With a woman driver! Defintely not a 179 driver... But the BC supposed to do that duty is definitely pro...
stooper SG Yeah, being used... But I think it would be better if they place the normal 179 queue in front, like the old BNL interchange. Anyway, I saw at least 5 different 179 buses parking in Row 1 at different times... They were not x-overing or anything... Probably not enough space now!
