TIB1018B SG I seldom take this bus service, but however while travelling along Macpherson Road and Airport Road, sometimes travelling along Clementi Road to Singapore Polytechnic I have noticed 3-4 non air con WAs on service 151 in a row For the past few weeks I had seen slight improvements with the addition of AC buses on service 151, however those NAC buses were back on service 151 again ??
sbst275 SG As I've said bef, they will only act on complains The service with the highest number of NAC buses
TIB1018B SG Service 151 PAC/FAC status:- - Introduced as a FAC service in 1993 - Converted to a PAC service in 1998 during a PAC/FAC conversion exercise - Converted back to a FAC service in 2000 - Quitely converted to a PAC in Nov 2001 when service 170 became a FAC service MK3 went over in exchange with ex NAC MK2 WA 170s
SBS9889U SG SBS Transit NACs n ACs belongs to different “gangs” for most of the times so having consecutive NAC or AC isnt rare. It would be almost impossible for Sv151 getting FAC until all the WA MK2s get scrapped.
K800i SG Give me a NAC DM Volvo Mark II over a SBST's farking LOUSY Scania or Nissan Diesel bus any day.
[email protected] SG You may have spotted SBS1753E (Former 186 AMDEP). Because the only perm DM NAC, SBS1845Z, went to 103.
vivienlee SG If u r given a choice which bus will u take SBST's NAC MK2 WA or SMRT's OAC/CAC Nissan SBST's NAC MK2 DM or SBST's OAC/CAC Scania
anti_NISSAN_U31 SG for me... NAC MK2 WA/DM/scania: short journey yes, long journey NO NAC vo2x: maybe yes (of course no choice for JIS ) OAC/CAC scania: yes CAC MK2: yes OAC MK3/MK4: of course OAC nissan: maybe, maybe not CAC nissan: NEVER AT ALL (esp on svc 980)
Volvo Olympian SG as for me NAC MK2 WA and DM : If Short Journey maybe yes , long journey super cool NAC VO2x : Same as above OAC Scania N113's : Maybe Yes CAC/NAC Scania N113's : Yes OAC Nissan : Yes CAC Nissan : what can i say?
SBS1985C SG Off: Me. MK II NAC Yes. MK III Yes. MK IV Yes. Scania NAC/OAC/CAC - Give them to me anyday too bad svc 51 does not have scanias as perms. SBS T Mercedes NAC (Non existing) I die I also want to take. SBS T Mercedes OAC/CAC I try not to take. (No) Nissan: Ok. Hino: Ok. SMRT Mecedes OAC / CAC Yes. (Better than SBS T) SMRT Lance Ok Other Bues (Eg Leyland, Dennis) OK.
SBS9889U SG This thread becoming another anti XXX thread. Anyway if i not rush, i would take Sv154. Don't forget Sv154 duplicates Sv151 from Clementi Road to Macpherson Road.
TIB1018B SG Off-Topic already... Anyway for myself, All NAC Buses depends on the journey and the weather, if too hot then don't take CAC MK2s/OAC MK3s/MB0405s should be ok All MK4s and LO3x/VO3x sure take Special buses/CNGs/VSOs/B9TLs/DTs lagi shiok, sure must take All SMRT 0405s/Box Bendies ok All SMRT Scanias/DAFs quite ok Dennis Lances/Hinos better than 0405s Volgren/Habits my favourite model (especially Dennis Lances and Bendy Volgrens) OAC Nissans so so only, depend on the air-con system CAC Nissans will definitely give it a miss (except for service 178 - too many Nissans already )
