many SMRT buses like to race and speed along bukit timah/ dunearn rd, say when a sv67 is the 3rd bus in a bus stop, the driver sometimes just zoom past without even looking if theres any passenger wanting to board..

maybe revisiting the days of the nearby former Turf Club? some 170 also join in the race

Speed for what? Dun just because of speeding end up into a fatal accident

Sv170 not bad lah, most got stop. But if got 1 Sv170 in front hor, no matter how hard u flag the second one it will run off, i tried many times already, no matter what time of the day it is.

Evening worse cos some BC will tell take the next svc 174(that time all SDs) or svc 157 to Boon Lay when his bus is full. Shocked

Not to forget 66. I was in the bus and it skipped 3 bus stops and the driver was speeding. People at the bus stop flagged but bus didnt stop.

Plus, it was during Saturday afternoon off-peak

Oh yes… I remember that once I took service 167 up to Sembawang Road End Terminal. The bus speed along Sembawang Road. Along there, almost 1 or no passangers will board at the bus stops. But near a camp, I (certainly) saw a person flagging his hand but the bus did not stop. Only after a few second later then the driver realised it and I overheard him saying: “Aiya shit, what am I doing ?!”
