Your case special cos i every weekday take Sv59 and the condition is not like yours. But if i suppose you take from Damai Sec, then 506 will stop at less bus stops in comparison to 59 hence faster a bit but nowadays 506 BCs dont really care about 59 unlike when it started when a 506 BC see 59 bus, then he will chiong and cut pass.

I would say CT18 is the value for $$$ but the frequency a bit too long. Normally i take CT18 from home to Chinatown only $1 Very Happy but if i take taxi is $7++ = 7 joyrides on CT18 . Since last year Jan till now, i only took taxi twice when CT18 is in operation(of cos wif family la), somemore taxi like only faster than CT18 by 5 mins.

Becos most of the buses used on CTs are old (except CT28 where one occasionally see new buses)......its frequency too bloody long........and its drivers drive the bus too slowly........

In fact, when I occasionally need to get from DMSS to OTP (the National Dental Ctr/HPB).......I know there is CT18......but the bus don't come punctally......sometimes a bit late.....s'times gone b4 I could reach the bus stop...........

So I cannot go to OTP by direct means.....haizz.........

............Really serves them right for their poor business!

Who says CT Service business bad? You see one or twicer then come of with this kind of conclusion and CT28 is the oddball CT with bad business but not CT8 and CT18. Both have rather healthy loads AND during CNY, the buses can be very full at night so much that you have to stand at the door.

1)The buses that are being used doesnt really affect the ridership
2)CT28 got Striders and you always see them, not occasionally.
3) Not dont come punctually, almost all the times if you take from Chinatown
4)Late is true
5)Gone b4 reaching the bus stop for direction 1 only, direction 2 most times late one
6)You just need more patience and arrive at the bus stop earlier.
7)Must repeat business poor for CT28 only. CT18 is ok on weekdays/rather good on weekends BUT most passengers come from BLK 628 ->Opp BLK 646, thats why you dont see them outside DMSS.
