its a long long story. first of all, MRT originally is planned
to end at Raffles Place, but its too congested..
also, Marina South is not very develope, as you can see, and the
future plans for marina south developement wasnt finalised when the
MRT was planned way back into the 80s.
as a side note, marina south is on reclaimed land
