striderz_o405 SG one reason why 263 was converted to townlink 268: 263 was supposed to charge industrial fares but then when the JIS fares were revised in 1997, it is inappropriate to call 263 as a "Jurong" Industrial service. hence it was renumbered as TL 268 in feb 1997.
