Not true. There has been no confirmation as on where should the new buses go yet. So it's is very early to jump to any conclusions.

But of course with the new handicapped friendly buses, the buses will be at a better position to offer assistance to the handicapped people. So some priority will be given to them. There're altogether 150 new buses so there're more than enough buses to cover the needs at the most sensible costs.

...and buses too. Remember the service 265 incident ? The shortage of buses for 265 resulting in the usage of NAC scanias on that service and now 265 becomes a PAC bus. 155 had also starting to use the NAC scanias. Can't imagine when the MKII retire.

If there is shortage of buses, those new svs launched last yr should not even be allowed to be introduced...

I dun even believe there is shortage of buses. I recently written an complain letter on Sv XXX, recent days more aircon buses are deployed, seen DM MK4 which is not a perm bus, furthermore it's on a Weekday... It's only when you pull their dirty socks svs you see add aircon buses deployed

I do think it's shortage of buses...
When all those new services were introduced, many MK2s got transfered away from SLBP... It was the few weeks after that, that 179 had up to 4 buses missing a day... But now, it's better after the 10 CNGs were introduced...
