Another option could be to take the MRT to either Bedok or Tanah
Merah, and transferring to route 2.
You can also try 59 from Bishan, Toa Payoh, or Braddell stations.
The time it takes for route 59 to travel to Changi Village from any
of these three points is rather long, though...
You can also look up routes 9, 19, 29, and 89 too (notice how they
all end in 9?) and see which solution best fits you.
