From the too often seen VERY POOR ridership (double-decker with
what ? 3 to 5 persons including driver ?!? what a great laughing
joke !) & taking into the account the large capacity vehicles
used, i find it a resounding YES that this CityBuzz thing be
scrapped ! Makes no business sense to me !!
If they want to keep it, then modify the fares somewhat (like what
Handal Indah did with their Kampong-roof JB tourist service) to
make it more attractive to everybody (not just the few tourists !)
so as to boost overall demand & make better use of the deployed
vehicles ! Then perhaps SBST can see improvement in response to
like the levels nowadays seen with HI's kampong-roof service. Then
perhaps it'll still make some sense to keep it.
