samtlk SG The worst type of ppl I've seen, are those who ask the BC to wait, while their friends check out what bus is turning in from the junction.
FBI SG 179 bus got alot. Because many ppl going to University, CHC and their homes in 900+ flats. I think the bus come every 5 min. Same goes to 243
striderz_o405 SG You can cancel this out already. Now CHC @ JRW only provides Chinese and dialect services.
brotherchen1982 SG There are 2 boarding berth for 179 during Wkday morning so two 179 move off at the same time. Once I saw a "convoy" of VO2xs(255 included), from my windows at the junction & when they started up at the same time..., U feel like U are at the Boon Lay Int.
brotherchen1982 SG Lots of NTU students taking 179 to NTU so Boon Lay Int got 2 Boarding Berth for 179 during Wkdays only. Pax living in Jurong West St 63 & Pioneer Rd Nth areas may also want to take 179 too. Image NTU students Q-up from fromer 199 berth to Boon Lay MRT Stn bef 179 was introduced.
Edgar_Davids SG why don't SBS introduce another express svc that runs from choa chu kang to NTU via KJE/PIE the load will be very good
busmanic SG everytime women one leh! they damn lazy one loh, buay tah han them sia!(heng my mom dont do that)
Edgar_Davids SG old people taking their own sweet time to board and alight the bus, anyway, schedule tables are only "for show" to show they are systematic,
Donavan SG That'll mean SMRT. The rushers. SBST, they'll just want to keep 3 - 5 min ahead of schedule. So they can rest in Int for about 2 min before driving again, or clean up bus, have a bit of water.
stooper SG When the Uni reopens, you'll see the queue stretch all the way from 179, round the corner to 199 in the morning peak even though it's 1 min frequency! The 6 DDs in the "convoy" I saw included 4 LOs and 2 VOs, all from 179! And once all 6 had passed the traffic light, I could see the next LO coming! From the Weekday 28 to Weekday 29 timetable, they have made it worse for 179... The evening peak is now increased from 35min to 37min even though most drivers can finish under 25min! Let's see what Weekday 30 will be when the uni reopens!
dO|pH|n3 a.k.a JaMiE SG From Tampines to Yishun, it would be advisable to take 969 then 39 unless you are in Pasir Ris. From Tampines to Woodlands, it would be advisable to take 168 then 969. From Sengkang to Yishun, take 965 From Sengkang to Woodlands, take 161
muziq bus SG No Offense but.... even their ffw services are rather slow.... 174e drivers needs more improvement...too slow.. 77 can speed all the way and usually reach Orchard at around the same time.... so its a waste of money to take 174e... and im speaking from experience.... happened quite a few times..... but sometimes its faster than 77 by 10 mins...
