the green in/out plate in front of some bus services

what does it means? is it only that bus services from st.michael terminal needs the plate?

The bi-colour plates are needed because the particular bus service calls at the same bus stop in each direction.

So far, St Mike's services are the only ones I know with the In and Out signs. 139 and 155 have an extra desto in front. Not very sure about 60 and 98.

Sv60 has red/white plates in front and most BCs place them in the middle.

225 is a feeder svc not Townlink svc.

Noticed that most of the front desto of Townlink svcs had the word "Townlink" remove & the plate change to the normal plate. (eg. 358,359)

seen it last month, they have new fonts for 358 & 359, the Townlink had been removed.

410 is the 1st Townlink Svc, if I'm not wrong, it is introduced on Jun 1992, converted to 2 colour scheme (Green & White plate) in 1993.

btw, I hope SBST can place additional bus-stop plates to inform passengers that these services from both directions will call at the same bus-stop (something like what SBST & SMRTB do for the SWT svcs). Passengers who are unfamilar with the bus-stop may board the wrong bus.

They should place 2 colour schemes on every bus stops that served on that particular colour. (eg. 225 has 2 colour schemes and the bus-stop plate should place 225G & 225W to avoid boarding the wrong bus.)

In case you are not aware, Green/ White plate Services routes are mutually exclusive. They will never call each other at the same bus stop, except the Interchange.

A related example is same service, different direction.

Or Fremantle's Circle Route 98 and 99. also, there isnt a "103W" on bus stop plates.
