Hi guys

I have decided to make some changes as you can see , to improve the quality of the forum. As I don't have much time to moderate , I want to make life easier for all the moderators . The rules are simple but if there are any doubts and need clarification, please give me or any of the moderators a private message, thanks.

Rule 1 :

I have set up the new thread folders, please ensure that the topic is relevant to the topic of the thread. Anything that is irrevelvant will be edited by the moderators. This is important because I noticed a lot of threads, topics tend to go way out of the original topic. Post where it is approriate, remember!

Rule 2:

No flamewar posts are allowed in this forum. To ensure a friendly enviroment, please do not haul war of words or vulgurities among each other. I take this very seriously and if there is anyone that breached this rule will be given two warnings. The 3rd warning will means goodbye to this forum. Rudeness and rebellious behaviour to the moderators and fellow forum users will not be tolerated. Debates and small arguments are allowed but please keep it under control and settle in a friendly manner. No childish remarks are allowed in this forum like " Volvo buses are lousy" and that's it. . Please rephrase it and back up your statement.

Rule 3:

This is for anyone that wishes to post photos in this forum. Please ensure that permission must be asked (If the photo is not yours) before you post in the forum.

This is how it should be done.
Example:

If you are not sure of this rule, please clarifiy with any of the moderators, thanks.

On behalf of the moderators, I would like to thank each and everyone of you for visiting this forum. Remember, without you, this forum won't exist. This rules may be strict to some of you but it's important to ensure the quality of the forum and let the forum grow even bigger.

In addition , every week, we will have a different poll that will last a week. After the week ends, the total number will be counted and will announce to the forum. Regarding about the topics of the poll , any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Please send a private message to any of the moderators.

Rule 5 : No trading is allowed in this forum. Anything trading should be done either in marketplace forum or somewhere else.

Lastly a strictly reminder to all including me Exclamation

If you dislikes a certain brand/buses/Bus operators,PLEASE discuss/Post/Reply in a Mannerly and not in a extreme views/ways.

Example:If you're crazy about DAF and dislikes other brands suchs as Volvo,Pls do not use the terms like "What so great about Volvos/Hate Volvo to the core"ETC,Think about the folks who likes Volvo first.This forums is all about sharing views/Info/Discuss in a friendly ways.Remeber if you think you are too smart,There's others smarter than you.Any violation replies/Posts will be deleted w/o notice!

Another rule to take note I notice, please check your spellings before posting . A few errors is alright but not the whole sentence or paragraph.In addition, please refrain yourself from using short words like nth , thx ...etc. Instead spell them out so that everyone can understand. NTH = Nothing , THX= Thanks.

Rule 6:

As of today Saturday 15 October, all discussions about classified and internal information of transport companies) (e.g. such as new services. rescheduling) until the official press release from the relevant companies or authorities (e.g. this would mean...press releases on ALL relevant bus stops) would be prohibited on SGForums.

Please also take note, even if you observed or had seen something factual, as long the company has not fully completed its job yet, please also refrain from further discussion.

You may undertake private discussions out of the public eye and board. Thank you.

Avoid photography at bus interchanges/terminals or MRT Stations, unless you have been authorised to do so by the relevant bus authorities. All photographs taken at bus interchange/terminals or MRT Stations posted in Buses @ SGForums (unless the poster had stated he has obtained permission from the relevant authorities) will be deleted without notice being given to the poster.
