Queensway underpass and new link to AYE

iamgoondu SG

SMRT now really call @ the busstop opposite Blessed Sacrament Church, as indicated in the notice posted. Would it adjust the fare stages as well? Hope not. The extra distances may simply add 1-1.5 fare stages between.

SMRT's online guide has been updated but not TransitLink.

The new link "Portsdown Ave" connects AYE and Normanton Park to Queensway.

If you make an exit from Tuas-bound AYE to Portsdown Ave, heading towards Queensway, you can only access to the direction of Queensway towards C'wealth Ave but not the direction of Queensway towards Alexandra/Jln Bt Merah, strange thing

You can make a u-turn at the queensway underpass. Moreover you can choose to exit at the next exit after portsdown.

sbst OR smrt should consider a link between commonwealth mrt to science park1 via the new portsdown link.

Is there a No-Right-Turn from Portsdown Ave into Queensway (towards Jln Bt Merah)?

Just checked myself. No right turn allowed.

yup, the road only accesses to Farrer Rd

Is there any access from Portsdown Rd to Queensway? Perhaps 191 could be amended to use this new link.
