Bishan 58 Pasir Ris (New Service!)

gorby107 SG

I say 53 would be faster as it goes from the serangoon area it goes hougang that side then express on Tampines Rd and TPE then go to Pasir Ris Dr 1 and 12 which is about a few bus stop away from the interchange which need to walk and the whole journey takes about 20-30mins but 58 is long winded passing through the Eunos area and sometimes during the morning and evening peak there would be heavy traffic jam at there and sometimes even non-peak hours too which will take up some of the time. So I say that Sv 53 is faster

Where will the new queue areas for the new serivces be located, I wonder. They moved 53 and 56 to the furthest end of Bishan interchange some time ago.

Was at Junction 8 last weekend, but there were no signs that new services would be introduced at all....no new sign boards, or queue area.

Anything new there now?

Should be up within the next few days.

At Pasir Ris, the board in between 358 and 17 have been covered with vanguard sheets.

The old 356 board, right?

I think 58 and 53 will be as fast.

^tamago^ SG

Sorry, Pasir Ris is the origin direction for Service 58. Hence, Direction 1 is from Pasir Ris.

Sad to say, though it's a 5x service number, it won't be under full Bishan Route Group.

^tamago^ SG

confirmed it's Svc 9 permer. those you saw are cameo runs.

Along this roads, are there any height restrictions?

bluezombie10 SG

dun think so leh. Very Happy DDs if loads better maybe?

tranquilice SG

Except for Ubi Ave 3 which we don't know yet, Serangoon Ave 3 and Lor Chuan (unsure as no DDs ply these 2 stretch of roads), no height restriction along other roads.

tranquilice SG

Service 58 duplicates Circle Line between Bishan and Tai Seng stations (except Bartley station). It also ply near MacPherson station, one junction away.

delonchew SG

Ubi Avenue 3 does not have height restrictions. Very Happy

352+356=357 (1997).
357+294=003 (2002).

The current service 3 berth was the 352 berth in the past, if my memory doesn't fail me.
