So What service did this bus serve on. Question

sbskidz SG

service 111 before

SBS9828X SG

But this bus had no front desto holder…or was it removed like 81S?

Did the LO2X ever have red seats? I thought only the WA Type L and DM-bodied LAs and the Willowbrooke O305 had red seats among the DDs.

In fact, all those buses brought in during the 1970s and early 80s had red seats. THe first bus with blue seats were the WA Type R LAs.

Yes, but few...

bram ones all confirmed red seats aft 1999...

Changes: Red seat, signal/ lighting indicators at the back 'poped out'

Red seats discussed here meant the old metal "Khinco" brand seats with a woodgrain motif backing. These were the standard seats on SBS buses until the arrival of the Alexander R type Leyland Atlantean and Mercedes O305 in 1984. Buses after 1984 all have blue seats. The seats on the aircon buses were grey with 2 blue velvet stripes, roughly the covering the area of a person's back and bum. AC buses were a premium service back then.
