of course the interchange in my area lar....hehehe btw, who knows "who" or "what" controls the automatic door in the 2 aircon interchanges when buses arrive...

No, it loops at the same "circle" .

No Sv 82 doesn't terminate at punggol Int but pass by only. It still got to Punggol Rd(end) where there is the terminal before 82 was amendented. The Bus cabin(shelther) was also gone. Now the bus go there to loop only and sometimes BC can stop there for a while to rest.

No, it doesn't. It operates from Serangoon interchange and loop at the end of Punggol Rd, on its way it ply Punggol Place outside Punggol interchange/MRT station.

I like Toa Payoh and Sengkang interchange,fully air con..

But one thing bad for those air-con Interchange especially Senkang the worse of the two. When the sliding door is open to let passengers to board, fumes will come in and generate the whole air-con system which the smell is unbearable. Senkang Int the alighting also no good as you get down the place is so hot and fumes is all around as it is enclosed in a building and the fans blowing is like hot air. I think the BC also cannot take it too

sengkang interchange is on the first floor of the condominium. its ceiling/ roof is the condominium already.. also, theres a lack of space (obviously). it cannot be compared with Toa Payoh. TAP is brighter, spacious and has more bus services (with many standalone berths). i say SKG is a failed AC interchange if compared with TAP.

I still rememebr visiting COmpass Point back in 2002 when the temp interchange was still in use. THe new interchange seemed rather small to me when I peeped inside.

the place is really cramped... the design isnt good... Should have allowed more space on the roof so that;

Circulation;
Light;
Space;
Feeling of ample space

very dark.. and hot.. esp at the alighting berth.. everyone who alights walks auickly into the building to escape the heat and darkness.. too bad the int is under a building, and not beside it..

I think that Senkang Int should stay at its former premises is better as it is bigger for more people to walk, having fresh air, ample parking spaces and have natural light reflecting and no need to waste electricity to light up the place. The Interchange is not properly planned and a failure

HEy... just be happy that there is already an AIRCON Interchange for you already.. If you ask mi... i can tell you that for Sengkang interchange, itz alot times better than those that you can find in HongKong. in HK, you have to stay out there instead of waitin inside an aircon room.. For your INfo.. Those BCs rest inside the aircon room after their run... they are not so stupid to stay out there.. those who stay out there usually smokes.. Pls Observe Closely Before you post anything.

Even if this thread is made sticky but after a period of time no one posts, it will still expire anyway. The sticky topics are either important topics or those with a higher posting rate.

I like all interchanges and terminals....especially those that are photography friendly (in terms of scenery, whether BCs will chase you away etc)
