Service 125 is the only service along Kallang Way, so it still has to operate. Same for service 79 as it serves parts of Chin Bee not covered by service 246.

yeah.. they can be full from 7am till 8.30 am and 5.30pm to 7.00pm, but near empty during other hours.. thats why you can see their freq hits 20mins+ at off peak.. esp those JIS. interestingly, sv98, serving jurong port, and sv78 at penjuru also has the same format as sv79, 125 but they still has good frequencies whole day.. sv90 and sv94 and sv323 also bad freq during off-peak(15-30mins). their PSR counterpart, sv6, enjoyed a 10-15 mins freq instead..

78 hits west coast and teban while 98 does a good part of JE/W Ave 1 + Taman Jurong.... HDB dwellers if u have a service that is bad freq

Services 6, 78 and 98 not only serve the industrial estates, they serve the housing estates as well, that's why their frequencies are better due to the load in the housing estates.

last time got 251A operated by scheme B.. and also got to Jurong Bird Park, sv194, 182 and 251. 182 now amended.. BNL berths very messy le.. say like 192 and 193, originally together, now seperated.. same for sv194 and 251 (JBP), sv243G and 243W.. then ppl can board whichever come first

i think: 125 can dont want.. pull in sv66 or any of those Macpherson Rd Aljunied svcs

83 should be chopped agree. got LRT alreadyso spoilt like SKG!, tho is cheaper than LRT to MRT.
354 cos ppl have to enter by front gate to feel like big boss.. side gate for___. and 354 is like the official svc to DT east.. like 193 to SDC, 194 to JBP.. little ppl takes 251 btw..

I DO NOT AGree that 83 deserve to be chopped.. 83's load is very good in the moment and alot of students / working adults rely on this service to get to SGK from PGL and from PGL to SGK.. 83 is deserve to be named the 238 of the NorthEast...

The demand pattern varies widely for services 153 and 83. Service 83 acts as a feeder service for pax staying in Punggol to neighbouring Sengakng which has more facilities. Demand is also damn high that the queueing berth has been extended right to the alighting berth. Observe the number of pax boarding it at any time and you will see why SBST still keeps this service.

Passengers can get to Downtown East by alighting along Dr 3, but what about those going to the chalets at Jln Loyang Besar? It's nearer for them to alight at Pasir Ris Close. Also there are residences along Jln Loyang Besar but whether they do take service 354 or not, I don't know.

Service 125 provides passengers of Kallang Way a direct link to Boon Keng and Aljunied stations. If pull in other services, do these service provide a link to Aljunied station? Even service 64 don't.

Also service 83 is the one and only service along parts of Sengkang East Rd and parts of Compassvale St. Passengers there only have this service to take.

so is 83 a goodwill svc? normally SBS may chop this type of routes as there is duplication of both MRT and LRT, though i agree 83 is much faster and cheaper, and people can transfer to TPE services (eg. 86 161 88 27) along Punggol Road.

roads like edgefield plains and edgedale plains have no bus services.. ppl have to walk out to Punggol Field to take 3, 62 or 83 , or LRT.. possible to make a feeder to go into these roads?

is the part which is next to the TPE, blks 10x, 11x, 12x, 13x those blocks.. with the expressway next to the blocks, ppl only have edgefield / edgedale plains as the only exit, and looks like they have to walk quite far to the 83 b/s.. should maybe have a short feeder from PGL, similar to sv284 format..

Nope. Service 136 ply Edgefield Plains between Punggol Central and Punggol Field. Residents living near TPE don't have to walk far to Punggol Field, the distance is not that long.

the more the reason they should find an excuse to put DDs on the service.

by integrating 83 and 153 together the 153s DDs can run on that part of the route as well
