Names of 12 Circle Line stations finalised

i think there are quite a number who feel that Esplanade and Promenade sound similar and may be confusing esp to tourists. Firstly, they rhyme, and 2ndly they are rather similar in meaning, though not identical. why didnt they call it 'Marina Promenade' or 'Marina Centre'?? however, the names is already finalised

I don't think anything finalised means cannot has a last-minute change.

I agree that Marina Promenade is a more appropriate name for Promenade station, as there's other places with the name Promenade such as Marine Parade Promenade and Kim Seng Promenade. Calling the station as Promenade will lead to more confusion.

Ulu Pandan is too far away from Holland V. ANyway, some people may favour the name Chip Bee because they live there.

Do you know Farrer Road estate is under Ulu Pandan Ward? Change Farrer to Ulu Pandan may be more appropriate, though it's absurd. Anyway I opted Holland over Holland Village.
