man!! you all complain about scania..... and i always try to board it whenever i can.. honestly, its those mercedes O405 in sbs central districts that must be eliminated..
AMK services especially 25 needs upgrades, especially PM peak hours from bedok, i sees at least 3 overcrowded O405s...
in my opinion, volvos mk2, 3, 4 and scanias provide nice rides.. the drivers drive at a welcoming speed, not like the O405s drivers who drive slow slow.. funny pattern..

I think the single-deck buses for service 70 should be changed..

I'm not sure of the bus model used but it is the type where you have seats where the passengers face the aisle near the back of the bus. Thought the buses looked like they were once non-aircon buses, then subsequently had aircon added. These buses need more legroom as well as better air-conditioning..

i suppose u refer to scania buses which make up only minority. I see Svc 70 uses mostly 0405s DM and V03x

u stay in bedok/ toa payoh (where scania dominates)
my area in amk no scanias, except one or two 70s....

maybe take few times then will like it, take too much times will dislike it

Somehow, I'd rather wait and see who will be running the CCL. If it is SBST, den probably 24 might have some parts of its route diverted. If SMRT take over the line, then maybe it still stick to its original route? To have the service diverted to Expo might seem a bit impossible, as there's still some private residential estate along Upper Changi Rd East (from junction Simei Rd till PIE)

Maybe 35 be diverted to run within expo? Saw a couple of big bus stops along Changi South Ave 1.

It is already confirmed that SMRT will be operating the CCL.

Clementi hardly gets any Scanias these days. Svc 14 used to have perm NAC Scanias in the past. Even better if 2888 were transferred to Svc 14.

Maybe, maybe not. However, I still think Svc 70 makes a better CCL anchor. Cut this service and residents of YCK Rd near SER Nth & BGK Green will want somebody dead.

Service 70 cannot be withdrawn as it doesn't follow any MRT line between Yio Chu Kang terminal and Upp Paya Lebar Rd (up to Bartley Rd).

you must be referring to 903X...or 904T?

1986A has nice aircon but a screechy engine.

903X does not have really good speed. 904T is better, plus it sounds a lot like a Mk3

24 history long service le.. maybe sbs may keep it for history purposes, and at changi airport terminal 1, only buses call there, no mrt.. so the buses still serve an importance...

With just about 20 LO3X, svc 72 needs VO3X. Just my opinion.
