Suggestions to improve Singapore bus transport

Schedule the bus on time.

Cut the "fat" at the top management.

Make Ezlink Card claim simple and not to ask the commuter to go around the world like a fool.

The executives are employed to make value-added improvement to the company.

If the forumers have to write in a forum to improve the system, the executive should be sacked.

LED??? It cost $3000, while a plastic desto cost $30 and extras can be made

Sv 170 spare buses? Jam, buses cannot u turn anymore

Sv 400, 401 long queue??? Tell me the loading, maybe abt 50 ppl onboard with frequency at 20-30 mins.. There are other svs loading that are better

Bus on time? Then I go complain to TP to strict enforce the Bus Lane... And deploy inspector at major bus stops to make sure ppl move in (Esp for aircon buses due to comfort)..

Fats??? Already they are cutting cost, how much can you cut when on cost like petrol price, ERP???

What do you mean by private buses? Are those free shuttle services to shopping malls counted? If I'm not mistaken, some trips start from bus interchanges.

true...302 from CCk mayb crowded during peak hrs...but not to the extent of ppl squeezing to the doors, as seen on svc 190, 960 n other svcs from town... moreover as feeder svcs, most areas served by 300 n 302 are within walking dist frm CCK n Yew Tee MRT, so ppl who r unable to get the buses can still walk(v unlikely tt ppl cannot board up the buses)...the journey frm the midpt back to CCK usually onli haf a few 'xiao3 mao1'...the use of bendies is totally wasted...

who on earth thought of introducing citybuzz svcs? i always see citybuzz VSOs plying w/o a single soul in it even on Sat...besides, who spend $1 travelling dists tt will cost less on normal svcs?

i spotted a useful part of service C2 (chinatown) passengers can get a direct and cheaper link from/to chinatown and Marina centre/suntec city.. nrmally, passengers have to take a bus (frm chinatown) to city hall and walk or take a shuttle bus, or transfer to another bus at raffles hotel (costs more 63 + 38 =101 cents) means take C2 is lesser travel time, nice bus, no passengers and a overall savings of 1 cent Mr. Green

C2: $1
GWC shuttle from CNT to GWC, followed by CWC shuttle to CTH, then Suntec shuttle: FOC

the GWC shuttle has freq of 20~30 mins.. for timesake, C2 is faster.. the suntec shuttle, for the trip to suntec, well, the overcrowded bus can makes you mad.. there are 4 or 5 traffic lights, and they are programmed to be red one after another. that wastes time

Well, I don't have to pay a cent if I take the GWC shuttles. In fact, these days when I travel to JP, I take the IMM shuttle from Clementi, then transfer to the Boon Lay bus at IMM. I wonder if more people will do the same now that bus fares have gone up.

Travellign long distances with free shuttles is not very practical. Short distance like Prople's Park to Suntec or Clementi to Boon Lay still OK.
