Speeding on BKE by Singapore-Johor Express buses

last night i saw a Singapore-Johor Express bus kenna booked by traffic police on the road shoulder along BKE towards PIE, presumably for speeding, rare scenario as i have never encountered a bus or taxi kenna summoned by TP before hahaha...

i drive along BKE frequently, have noticed that many a time lots of Singapore-Johor Express buses often use the centre lane and travel as high as 70-80km/h, overtaking many smaller vans and lorries at the left lane...these Singapore-Johor Express drivers think they are driving a sports car....na beh, or think they are driving on malaysian roads...aren't these jokers aware that they are driving a heavy vehicle and are supposed to keep to the left lane?????

only our SMRT buses (187, 190, 700, 960, 963, 966) kept to the left lane and abide by the speed limit

Those Singapore-Johor Express buses are really atrocious and deserve being summoned and fined.

Also along SLE, i've noticed lots of blue colored Johor factory buses speeding on the centre lane...whereas our SBST buses (161 and 16 Cool along SLE kept to their speed limit..hope the TP nab these Johor buses...

have u guys ever encountered a bus or taxi stopped by TP and kenna booked?

of course, SJE buses are easily recognizable along BKE for speeding, especially when they are nabbed by TP…

must be the recently introduced CW2 i suppose, plying between Queen St and Johor, via BKE, operated by those kuku malaysian drivers who think the speed limit on BKE is 80km/h

I'd love to try one of them speedsters. Mr. Green I've seen a bus being booked for speeding on the North-South Highway in Malaysia. The bus was a MAN 18.310. I was travelling about 100 kmh when this bus overtook my car and was soon out of my sight. A few moments later, I saw it on the road shoulder with a police patrol car.

And Please, CW2 does write the icon "Singapore - Johor Bahru" on the sides

And only Malaysian buses can go abv 60km/hr, for many trips onboard SJE buses, they have never went abv 60km/hr. Only Malaysian buses do not have limiters as they are save from installing as they are not under local rules as they are not locally - registered buses

I have seen MAN 16.sth(forgot) go 130km/h on NS highway, the bus was swinging dangerously side-to-side, nobody dared to come close. Such drivers really endanger lifes of many and shld be stopped.

Anyway, the reason why our public buses are so law-abiding is bcos they have speed-limitors. The fastest I have seen was a 965 MB0405 Hisp going at 80+km/h.

Yesterday saw an off-service Scania CRB SBS3597B travelling at 80 km/hr along AMK ave 1. I was driving at 75 km/hr, and the bus was slowly pulling away. Pick up speed to 85 km/hr to finally overtake the bus..
