In medics terms, specifically, no. Injuries are considered to be internal injuries. There are medicine to treat bruises? Furthermore, in NS, they won't bother such cases as no medication is needed. No remedial action can be taken at all in the 1st place. The skin will heal.

If all are called injuries, then "cham" already... All soldiers calling for medic man...

VOs are very problematic. Every time break down. Even had 9227E bellowing smoke along AMK Ave 3 four months ago, I was on the bus.

technically speaking there are various medications to lessen the effects of bruises - Hirudoid (corticosteroids) for example, which inhibit arachidonic acid production to lessen the pain and promote healing.

you cant see internal injuries, so how can you treat them? remedial action can be taken if need be.

i see that SMM's standard of training has gone down.

9332J broke down on 14/9 opp Monfort Sec at Hg Ave 8 at 1800hrs. Was towed off at 2200hrs, by a big tow truck flanked by a small one.

See? VO3x has alot of probs. Just aft i said it, another has broken down. Anyway, VO3x is the second best DD to me. Best is Dennis Trident. But i will still cry when they disappear. CRBs are very special to me too. And as for habits, they are the best SMRT buses ever put into service.

In Clementi, you can see all the worst SBST buses. LO3X, Mk 2 & 3, MB O405 WA/DM all make me puke. Mk 4 is just OK. At least BDK/TAM/PSR have CRBs forming the main fleet of their feeder routes.

I daresay Boon Lay has probably the worst buses. The Int full of Merc, Mk2s, VO2x, and LO3x with a few VO3x from svc 198, 154, and 30.

I think you should also stay away from Toa Payoh, Ang Mo Kio, Bishan also, they have tons of LO3x and Merz.

btw Scania no longer forms the backbone of svc 293, 358, 359 fleets, alot of them have been replaced by Mk3.

TPY feeders have CRBs deployed. Also, I have seen one CRB after another @ BDK central. But I have not seen them on 14 in Clementi for some years.

At least now 9888 followed 154 from HGDEP to BRAM. I can see VSO pass by my window. Now hoping the Tridents make a comeback on 147.

1. Boon Lay DOESNT have the worst buses. It has the oldest buses in the SBST fleet. Mk2 LO & Merz. Note that the VO 2x aint that old yet.

2. I think u are referring to AMK in particular. BSH has a couple or 2 LO3x and the rest are merz.

3. 293 358 have about 50-50 share in the mk3 scania fleet. 359 has about 70-30 of mk3s.

Even my sister recognizes the VO3X despite the fact that she is bus-illiterate.
She will tell me DD on 74 with red interior break down again.
Say, since everyone is ready to cry for CRB, I will cry also for the bus I am named after. After all, when I was smaller and lived in Tamp, I used to persuade my parents to wait for a CRB, even though we felt sticky after that.

Errr, u guys should compare the number of VO 3 axles to other types . Bus breaking down is very often due to poor maintainance basically. As for CRB ? I am probably one of the minority who wants to see the end of them asap. I am staying in the east area and entirely sick of the sight of CRB . I really hope to see mercedes replacing them one day. Anyone doesn't like scanias like myself ?

SBS 0796 M (rego not sure but it has a greenish ad) of 16 (16 desto on front windscreen) suspension BUANG like siao! Bus was tilting on its right when it crawl pass the SP bus stop @1733 hrs.

Charles, I can understand how you feel. My area is dominated by Mk 2s and Mk 3s with almost no trace of the Scanias. I am so sick of the Mk 2s and Mk 3s already. The transfer of 33 to BNDEP was some good news for me, though. At least there is more variety in my neighbourhood.
