19th April 2005 (mid-day) :
SBS9656A of svc 89 broke down today during lunch-hour along the
single lane dual carriageway of Telok Paku Rd (towards Airport
Cargo Complex direction)(next to Changi Village).
The poor lady BC went across the road to direct oncoming traffic
from both directions, as the bus had blocked the road (a very
responsible act indeed!).
I always find SBST and SMRTB bus drivers courteous, friendly and
responsible. That's why I'm always ready to give way to them
whenever I drive. At least, when I give way to them, they always
wave back as a sign of Thank You guesture!
