In the past, SBS had a depot in Woodlands for bus assembly. According to one website, the Atlanteans were assembled there. Where was this place and what happened to it later on?

Leyland Olympian DD were also assembled at Woodland Depot..

Last time Service 170 travelling from JB to Queen st used to went into the Depot to top up diesel, and while waiting for the diesel to top up, i will be there looking at the workers assemblying the buses. Also, SV 170 will go round the whole depot before exiting it, thus you can see all the new buses and bus chasis parked there..

Not sure abt which services were controlled from this depot. Maybe those former Woodland Services before it was transferred to TIBS in the 80s?

sbs's wldep used to control services that run in woodlands and probably cck and/or bt panjang back then.

when sbs gave woodlands to tibs in the 80s, wldep closed down.

bbdep was there all along to serve jurong east, bt batok, cck, bt panjang services.

hgdep built many stuff over the past 12 years. they include the mk4 striders, the batch 2 and 3 VOs and also the mk4 DM3500s Smile

SBS Woodlands depot was located along Lor Tulin, where Kranji MRT station and Turf Club now stand.

The bus depot is still indicated in the 1993 and 1995 street directories. Confused

Pls get your facts right... the order of CNG Volgren's is NOT confirm.. it is just a Rumor... what we only know is that SBST had made an order for 150 B9TLs but NOT the Merdz.. AND.. Pls get it right.. itz NOT 0405 it is Merdz OC500LE.. brother.. get your facts right before you post.. yes.. the bodyworks of the 150 B9TLs will be built locally at SBST's Hougang Depot.

According to Tamago, the O500s may not even be CNG, but Euro-3 like the B9TLs are.

A side note, how different are the O500s from Citaros?
