kenny_cai SG Service 5 was withdrawn when the LRT was introduced. It was a bad move, so SMRT (then Tibs) introduced Service 970 to replace toe withdrawn Service 5 all the way to the Shenton Way area. The rest of the route is covered by the East-West line.
