The main reason was to provide residents staying along Tampines
Streets 34 and 45 a link to Tampines Interchange, and Service 29
was diverted to Tampines Avenue 9 to cover up the area that Service
28 used to cover.
If you ask me, it should be Townlink 293 that should be extended.
From Street 45, it can then proceed to Street 34, Street 32, and
then follow it's original route again. But I still think Service 29
shoud continue service Avenue 9.
