I kinda like ur sv84 BUT there's always sv136 to Upp Serangoon Rd, walk a short distance to Hougang Ave 3 for sv55. SBST wants all to make transfers as "it's not possible to make a direct link all the time".

Service 55 does NOT call at Parkway Parade. And if you say SMRT's 966, don't bother: because that'll involve 2 transfers, which is not good.

Then take sv62 to Upp Paya Lebar Rd to tfr sv76. Please note tt there has to be a dd for SBST to introduce a DIRECT link to Parkway. If not, it will not be introduced. Anyway if sv55 is taken, u can alight at Still Rd South bus-stop, 7 mins walk u will reach Parkway, njoy e cool breeze...

What about merging SBS284 and SBS 282 (Green and White Plate service)? Name it Svc 282. Cle int - Clementi Av 4 - Clementi Ave 5- Clementi Ave 2 Clementi West St. 2 - Clementi Ave2 , 5 , 4 -Clementi Int.

As I have not been taking buses for 5yrs liao, if I can remember correctly, Svc 282 has a fleet of 3 buses...maybe can increase to 5 buses if SVC 284 and SVC 282 could merge.

Another suggestion is to extend Svc 56 from Marina Centre to clementi. The extended route from Marina Centre to Clementi is as follows:

Marina Centre - AVE (Jurong) - AVE(Clementi Rd) exit - Clementi Rd - Clementi Ave 2 - Clementi Ave 5 - Clementi Int

3. It provides a quick link from Clementi and Jurong East to Boon Lay using Boon Lay Way (few passengers compared to Jurong East/West Ave 1).

u mean AYE rite Question btw there exists 3 links to Clementi From MArina Centre.
i.Walk to City Hall to take MRT

There's a hint of sv74,sv165 and a mixture of sv62,136 here. BTW the reason there's no link to BNL vis Boon Lay Way coz there's NOT ENOUGH passengers to support any new route. There are links from SKG, HGN to west, sv74,156,165

I quite like this route because firstly, in the punggol and sengkang area, there is no buses that go to the south western part of Singapore like Clementi or Jurong East and Boon Lay except for service 156 which plies from Sengkang to Clementi. With this new service, I can take this bus directly to Boon Lay without having to take a bus to AMK and take MRT to Boon Lay. However, I think the route can be enhanced by making some parts of the whole route express so that the journey from Punggol to Boon Lay can be shortened.

I know abt those alternatives. The purpose is to serve resident living at Clementi Ave 4,5. btw the waiting time to transfer Svc 284,Svc282 to int/MRt or walking to MRT also take at least 10 mins why not direct link from these places. CT 18 or 28 from Cle is an example.

In addition, residents in Clementi St.13/ Ulu Pandan and NSF from the Ulu Pandan camp can take Svc 74 , Svc 151,Svc 154, Svc 165 and transfer to the proposed route to Suntec City along Clementi Rd (opp Blk 359). Usually these batch of commuters would take Svc 75 or take any bus to Clementi Central and transfer to MRT to City Hall station.

Svc 106?A longer journey than all the propose route. I woud rather take MRT if I am from Clementi Central. MRT only bring you to City Hall. From City Hall,ifu walk faster than Carl Lewis, you can reach Marina Centre within 10sec! Laughing

Btw the stretch from AYE Clementi Road Exit (Changi Airport) to ECP ( Rocher Exit) is approx 14 KM. If the bus travelling at 60KM/hr, It only takes 14 mins from AVE Clementi Road (Changi Airport) to Rochor(Exit).

The journey from Clementi Ave 5 to Suntec City/Marina Centre will take approx 30 to 35mins.

Svs 282/284 journey from Cle Ave 4, 5 to Int is approx 6mins
Journey to City Hall MRT from Clementi MRT Station is approx 19mins
Walking dist to Suntec City/Marina Centre is approx 10 to 5 mins approx.
The above does not include waiting time for Svc 282/284 and MRT. Please not that the waiting time for 2 transfer is longer than waiting for a Svc 56 to arrive at your doorstep at Clementi Ave 5 .

your concept of SP buses is wrong here..

i say this once and only once for everyone here to hear..

SP Buses are u know la... Spare.

They are used when the permers of the service goes for servicing in the depot. These SP Buses usually do full day shift. BUT... i'm not saying that all SP buses do full day shift. Some can do split shift.

SP Buses do not supplement loads during peak hour, split shift buses do. U tell me how the concept of SP buses supplements loads during peak hour? UNLESS they're SP AND on split shift duty.

SP Buses simply replaces a bus that is MIA, as simple as that.
