Yup, MB0405s are noisy. Sometimes cannot sleep when SMRT MB0405s
and SBST MB0405s race around outside my house. But, they are very
powerful. The CRBs are the opposite, dun hear them unless you push
them real hard, then they will hiss. The LO3X and the VO3X are very
stable even close to 70km/h. Hence I like them too.
It is not true that the mkIVs are slow-pokes, on the contrary, they
can be faster if in the hands of furious drivers. But generally,
the mkIVs already sound scary when it reaches 60km/h.
Have a question: Are there 2 types of mkIIIs, I find that some
mkIIIs sound like mkIIs minus the beginning whine, and others sound
like the mkIV dm3500. The latter sound horrible and picks up damn
slow, while the former has performance like the mkIV dm3500.
Charles, I understand how you feel. I personally cannot wait for
the B10Ms to go.
