I have encountered similar problems when the bus air conditioner system is spoilt. There is hot air blowing in the bus, making the interior of the bus very stuffy. One such bus is SBS 9399 S which plies the route of Service 147. I board this bus just last week ago. The air conditioner system may be repaired by now.

If you tell me the bus you took is a Scania , I am not surprised at all. SBST’s scania if you notice especially in the east area in my opinion is the worst buses in Singapore. The comfort level , i give it 1/10. Absolutely hideous.

i dont notice that. in fact i think CRBs are one of the more comfortable buses in Singapore. i take them almost everyday and hear them almost everyday and smell them almost everyday. i think SBST should refurbish them instead of scrapping them. they will regret scrapping the CRBs for sure!! Wink

Aiya.. DD bus on 147 alwayz have that problem de.. the moment that the Upper Deck is packed, it will be very stuffy and HOT.. just move to the lower deck.. although you dont get to enjoy the scenery around you but at least you got the Aircon... if can, try to wait for a Mk2 147.. their AirCon is Powerful... or a VO3x (95xx-96xx)
