Just want to clarify on the spare buses thing.
Lets say the depot has 5 buses, A,B,C,D,E. and the depot has 4
duties to fill, 1,2,3,4.
By default, the perm buses would be A=1, B=2, C=3, D=4 and E is
kept as spare bus.
However, when A goes in for maintenance, E takes over A duty, and
when B goes in for maintenance, E takes over B duty.
My point is that it is unlikely that E will be seen sitting in the
depot waiting for deployment as maintenance is a regularly
scheduled event.
If a bus is seen sitting in a depot for a long period, likely is..
kaput due to lack of spares, reserved for special event, or the
workshop is so kilat
service all buses during the night shift.
Alternatively
that depot has excess buses.
