Going from Bt Panjang to the east is not a small distance (for Singapore)...if going to somewhere like CCK, BBT, BNL, CLE, JUR then a transfer is unreasonable (and notice BPJ has direct buses to all of the above places) Rolling Eyes

The point now is BPJ has no bus to the east, be it Bedok, Eunos, Tam pr PSR. It would be disasterous if BPJ doesnt even have the BASIC links to those places, so no use pointing it out. >_<

BPJ already has Yishun, which can be used as a transfer stop before a direct service can be introduced...1 transfer is very reasonable...BPJ is quite lucky compared to CCK already.

Like ive said before... SMRT wants your to take the LRT and MRT.. so thats the reson why Bt Panjang doesnt have much Bus Servics to the rest of the Singapore.. Places like CCk,BBT,BNL,CLE and JUR are all the places where there is MRT station serving the area..

106 was shortened becuz of the NEL, so i would think that Transitlink would force SBST to shorten at least a few of the services.

70 is the only bus from my house to town, since 103 go to Serangoon nia. Cannot do anything to 70.

Bukit Panjang should have one bus to AMK directly. Last time no bus from WDL to HGN/SKG, now got, and so many people are taking them. SBST should have one service from BPJ to AMK.

gohby: there's no direct bus to every single damn place in singapore. accept this fact. Transfers are inevitable should u want to get to your desired destination. Otherwise, lots of walking is needed. As serangoon has CCL, be prepared for a couple of changes in the area in the years to come. whether or not it will benefit u, we'll wait and see.
