I have to agree. what kind of DAFs, BTW? Hispano or Setanta ones?

Scania N113 CRB OAC outperforms Mk III.

SBS9845X SG

ALL DAFs are TRASH, hispano or setenta.

Superbus SG

I don’t see the need for this thread to start in the first place. They are after all buses! For God’s sake, don’t you have anything better to do? Goodness..get a life!

JJxJJ SG

hispano ->CSS?

alantanchunshyan SG

is there DAF volgrens Confused ?maybe sold off DAF buses and buy DAF volgrens Smile

SBS9845X SG

They aren't fit to be called buses, being as slow as a snail!

sbst275 SG

I have taken a DAF bef that can speed and overtake slow moving lorries

supremebull SG

Since when are DAFs slow? I have taken DAFs that offer speedy performance on the roads. And if you don’t like them, don’t take them

delonchew SG

Are you sure all the MkIIIs are slow? Maybe you ought to wake up your idea and please go find something better else to do. This topic is totally uncalled for.

iveco SG

The CRBs can outrun the Mk IIIs. What do you think? Rolling Eyes

delonchew SG

I think that is an assumption. You are taking an orange and comparing with an apple. So, what do you think?

sbst275 SG

MKIII have dragging noises when speeding

CRBs seems to be very light, esp the non aircon ones

Zilchster SG

Pls do not post flaming threads like this.

iveco SG

9845, you are not alone. DAFs & Mk IIIs are not too well liked in a number of forums I’ve looked in. Maybe it’s their Voith gearboxes?

SBS9818A SG

Mk IIIs can overtake Striders and TRIDENTS, what do you think?

Superbus SG

So what if they are slow? They are still buses! If they aren't fit to be called buses, then what? Are you fit to be called a human then?

For a period of time there was peace and constructive posts being exchanged in this forum, and now, the old crap is back!?

Don't like it? Fine! Leave it as it is. No point ranting! Grow up! There is nothing in this world that can be absolutely perfect.

Sometimes I feel like telling Charles to close this forum altogether!

The_Bus_Guide SG

The Hispano DAFs are on their way to the scrapyard already. Although some have been spared the fate of becoming twisted metal by having a new lease of life in the UK.
