SMRT will submit the application for higher fares in May next
year, from the news @ 6.30.
They claimed it has been hard for
them due to the rising cost of oil (Pure crap)
The authorities said that it would be hard for them to reject their
application. [Then you are absolutely useless, arent you, not even
making the slightest attempt to save anything]
So, most probably, the bus/MRT fares will rise again next
year...
I personally think SMRT is horrendous, Buses/MRT packed with
people, Bad frequencies for Buses and Trains and extremely rude
service officers.
Given their revenues, I believe that they could easily bear with
the rising costs of oil [Can you not provide such crappy reasons
for higher fares?]
