The 'Elite' Bus Route...what's your choice?

If you could make a difference and give a particular bus route ‘elite status’ i.e. best buses and models, top priority. super high frequency, adding special perks like larger TV mobile screens, public telephone service etc….which route would it be? give your reasons.

BNDEP feeders are some sort of "elites" in that they use high-performance CRBs. 225 has a full fleet of them.

SMRT svcs wiv Habits or SBST ones wiv VO3X can qualify too.

i fail to see how these remarks are offensive...especially to you judging from your tone. your hostility is strange. don't like the topic, just move on then.

of course i know there is no such thing as an official 'elite bus route' which is why I asked "IF" you have a choice.

And of course I know it's a matter of personal preference...which is why I asked for "your choice".

56 (got full DD fleet of VSOs)
81 (good fleet for a suburb service)
86 (has a good number of 3rd gen VO3X)
88 (3rd gen VO3X galore!)
107 (lots of VO3Xs, esp newer ones)
162 (had full fleet of Mk4 DM3500 for awhile)
168 (good fleet)
198 (good fleet, good freq)
291 (gets VO3Xs while a similar load 293 doesnt)

I don’t take buses that frequently these days, but my choice would be 7 (Clementi-Bedok). All VSOs please!!

Yes....it go to Great World City also.....
at least they can make it start from Harbourfront and loop at orchard?.....because the NEL does not cover this part at all.....

Or maybe it can start from Sengkang and then like last time 501 like that.....go CTE to Orchard(maybe can go along Upp Serangoon Road until Braddell Road or PTE/CTE interchange there, then enter CTE), then continue on the prev route to Harbourfront....charge normal fare......those 969, 168 all go express but still charge normal fare mah.....at least give pple at least another alternative than NEL......... their situation so bad until must kill ALL the CTE routes and force pple to take NEL??

then will have direct bus from Upp Serangoon Road to Dhoby Ghaut/Orchard....

119/860: Sengkang to Hougang St 21 (loop)
865/85: Sengkang to HarbourFront

860 was extended and renumbered 865.
865 became SBS service after SBS won NEL tender.
865 was renumbered 85.
85 was withdrawn in the 2nd phase Network Rationalisation.
a lot of complains and needed to cope with 136 load, so 119 was born.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Bus deployments are limited by the constraints and available resources. Bus companies can't go about pleasing commuters with their preferred bus models.
