I went to JB Checkpoint (no KRII due to long immigration queues)
and back and these are the points to note:
Cw2 operating hours is 0530 - 0030 hrs and will
operate between Larkin and Queen St. It is a semi-express svc
plying the same route as 170.
Woodlands Reg Int's Customer Svc Office refused to
reveal inauguration date for 950, saying it's not confirmed.
At W'lands checkpoint, for both directions, both
SBST & CW services (4 lanes) are at one queueing spot while
TIBS and SJE will share the other (2 lanes). Current arrangement is
2 lanes for SBST alone (plus 2 unused lanes for both Cw1 and Cw2
only when 950 is up) and SJE & Cw1 use the other 2 lanes.
Somemore, Cw1 now is using a makeshift lane alongside SJE and SJE
uses the 2 lanes up for themselves (pax queue at 950 lane then to
SJE lane then up the SJE bus). However, when 950 starts, Cw1 will
shift over to be with SBST with its own queue. In summary, when 950
starts, based on lane markings on the ground (since berth plates
are not up yet):
JB-BOUND: 160(KOTA RAYA)/170(LARKIN)/Cw1/Cw2(LARKIN)
SG-BOUND: 170/170(KRANJI)/Cw1/Cw2
On SG-Bound, sadly, 160 will use a makeshift queue. Also, SJE has
finally put up their own berth plate on top of the queues,
something not there last sunday (5th Sept).
