Pls lah... every buses do make noises when braking. Trident does; VSO does; Merc does; Lances does... Unless you can do what g-card says, "find a bus that does not have noise when braking."

Polympian?Laughers!!FYI,All SBST & SMRT buses uses air pressure for braking,The screeching or noisy you heard it is due to the wear off of the brake shoe and for VSO the brake pads lor! Cool

VSOs use disc brakes, naturally there is noise but the braking is smoother. It can't be helped!

by the laws of Physics, all buses screech when braking to a certain extent. if a bus doesnt screech, it means all the energy has been converted to other forms except sound.

and if u really do find a bus that doesnt screech, tell me and i'll get someone to nominate u for this yr's Nobel Prize in Physics.
