alantanchunshyan SG now that the road bridge between woodlands ave 7 and sembawang way is opened,i expected more smrt bus services and maybe one or two sbstransit bus routes.i have feedback to smrt to admend 965 to let it ply sembawang new town.still awaiting for its reply.any comments?
alantanchunshyan SG i also thinking of feedback smrt to let 178 or 187 ply sembawang new town through the road bridge and let it terminate in yishun interchange .
alantanchunshyan SG smrt reply was smrt does not have plans to admend 965 at the moment.maybe smrt have other plans for new bus services to ply along the new road bridge.anyone have any suggestions for new bus services to ply across the road bridge between woodlands ave 7 and sembawang way ?
^tamago^ SG the first thing to use it should be 962. service extensions plying along the bridge will most probably be, imo, 965 and probably another service from Yishun sector (853? 854?).
sbst275 SG IBS will introduce sv 967 to mark the opening of the road 967 (Sembawang to Woodlands Ctr) Sembawang, Woodlands Ave 7, Woodlands Sq, Woodlands St 13, Woodlands Ctr Rd (Loop) BTW, the new exit at SLE, where does it go to?
sbst275 SG Looks like I have to get a new road map, WDL has developed very fast in its road infastructure
^tamago^ SG this road will bring u to woodlands ave 1, 5, dr 62, dr 71 before connecting with woodlands ave 10 at gambas ave junction. it is flanked by the new sembawang air base/camp extension boundary that extends all the way from chong pang to gambas ave to woodlands ave 12 to sle to mandai ave and back to sembawang rd chong pang. this could be a useful & speedy link from the new bridge (via ave 10), but however economical feasibility may not be there as there is no built-up area along & near woodlands ave 12.
^tamago^ SG uh yes. i dun think the area around woodlands ave 12 will be built soon, so another white elephant. in fact, i was thinking how they are going to fill up punggol & sengkang west (anchorvale, fernvale).
tranquilice SG Plus Sembawang too. By the way, have you heard of Pinevale and Cocovale in Sengkang? I read before in a newspaper that these are the names of areas bound by Jln Kayu, Yio Chu Kang Rd, CTE and TPE.
