These 3 services appeared in the 1979 bus guide. 260 AMK - AMK St 22/24 404 Jurong - S'pore Science Ctr 405 Jurong - Jurong Bird Pk And also the long forgotten roadside terminals like Blk 555 AMK Ave 10 for 265.

This is the JUNE holidays after all, and I'm taking some time off to destress before study resumes in July. I don't see anything wrong with taking buses provided I balance it equally with my studies.

off_service SG Service 266 did not merge with service 269. The current Townlink 265 is the merger of services 265 (St 54) and 266 (Ave 4/5). Service 269 is extended to cover the part which was not served by Townlink 265 but served by service 266. The AMK residents of Ave 4 (I think) create an uproar when service 266, the only service there, was withdrawn.
freakybuses SG AMK Ave 4 has other alternatives: 76, 268 to cover the deleted sector. The problem is YCK Rd and thus, 269 to ply there.
tranquilice SG Ok, let say that service 269 was amended to ply on parts of service 266 route. Townlink 265 ply Ave 2 and St 11, which are not plied by service 266. So in my opinion, Townlink 265 cannot be the merger of services 265 and 266.
