Off topic, but i caught sight of this from far at night when i went to KL recently. Displayed on an Intrakota Iveco EDS :

Sv. 985 or Sv. 966?

Originally of Service 61, the driver took this bus off service when he could not program the destination sign properly.

Others i have seen include [ 966 MARINA CENTRE ], apparently Marina Centre and Marine Parade are so similar that the driver decided to mix the two up.

At night i have seen service 61 habits displaying [ KRANJI DEPOT ] for the front and [ KJ DEPOT ] for side and rear.

Last buses of tibs are supposed to show [ LAST BUS ] on their destos, just that i have never stayed out late to witness this.

Yes, the destos do show last bus. If I recall correctly, the words LAST BUS remains permanently, ie. the route details are not displayed at all.

Seen them on 67 and 61 as well as 187 before. I have the habit of taking the last 154 or 30 from Boon Lay when I'm bored. Mr. Green

I find it odd that the service captain cannot program EDS properly, after all, he is trained to operate the EDS console!

for me i see 106 last bus wiht the 106 number and last bus superimposed on each other on the side desto.

Before 2nd phase of Network Rationalisation took place, 97 owns some VO3x perm bus. 1 of them, 9273X front & side desto had 97 and destination but the rear desto was 51.

Saw a Service 996 bus on Jln Toa Payoh Mr. Green

Supposed to be 966, but the driver put the rear desto upside down.

I saw before a LO 2x, front desto was 51 while the side desto was 97.

Really? Both services are controlled by different depots. Do you mean that 700P uses 68 desto but placed upside down and become service 89? Or really uses 89 desto?

btw, I really flipped 86 desto plate over at the back seat 2 months ago.. too bo liao le... then people see "wrong" bus dont dare go up.
