Bus : TIBS 172/175 and sometimes 67
Time : Everyday
Prob : They are charging me aircon bus fares but they dun switch on the aircon! WHats the temp stipulated for buses?! I saw 26 degrees!!! waaa lau....going to faint liao! On 172 / 175, the bus usually have a funny smell and is dirty especially in certain corners.

I assume you took a DAF bus. This bus is one of the lower-end series in the SMRT Buses fleet.It used to be a very good bus back in 1995, while being controlled by AMKDEP, but after being transffered to KJDEP, it wasn't cleaned and maintained well. This explains why you had an uncomfortable trip.

PS: You might want to write a complain to SMRTbuses thru their website.

Ya, most likely. I wrote a complaint letter some time back but webmaster obviously not doing job. coz the mail bounced. sigh... i think overload with complaints?!?

Are you sure? Normally, I write a complain to SMRT BUSES, not SMRT. Try writing another letter to SMRT BUSES @ www.smrtbuses.com.sg

DAF buses are slow…but their interior is quite nice and the seats are at least thicker than those Hispano Merzs.

yep i totally agree. but one of the VSOs had a slight aircon malfunction today... i took 9802 (sv 2 Cool from TPY home and was practically baked inside.

9526S of Sv. 8 had strong a/c on the lower deck, and interestingly enough, was spewing HOT air on the upper deck. No prizes for guessing what I did then. Mr. Green
