How come Tampines Ave 2 is in between Ave 7 and Loyang Ave? Yishun Ave 5 and Ave 7 are not connected together.

What I mean is, (look at your route again) service 971 after stopping along CCK Dr opposite Yew Tee MRT, the next stop is along CCK St 62 outside block 625. How is this possible? Rolling Eyes

I beg to differ.

Try the times when plenty of regional flights, and when flights from Europe/Australia arrive ( ie 1600-1900 ). You will be amazed that those ang moh backpackers do haul their big packs on board, though many now take the train ( thank goodness!! ) and Singapore homebound travellers. The load can reach 80% at times.

80% load? Of all the times I took service 36 from the airport in the afternoons, the loads are not that fantastic.

I have taken 36 in the mornings and evenings but I have never seen so high a load. But then again, I don't always take 36 so I cannot really conclude. On the few times I have taken 36 from Airport, I see mostly airport workers taking the bus and no tourists.

177 is a peak service as it serves the Gombak Camp... Restricted operating hours...

Ok i think i tweaked my version of Pasir Ris - Jurong East fast service...

Pasir Ris Interchange - Pasir Ris Dr 3 - Pasir Ris Dr 4 - Pasir Ris Dr 1 - Loyang Ave - Tampines Ave 7 - Tampines Ave 4 - Tampines Ave 5 - Simei Ave - Xilin Ave - ECP - Rochor Rd - North Bridge Rd - Bras Basah Rd - Nicoll Highway - Esplanade Drive - Raffles Quay - Collyer Quay - Shenton Way - Keppel Rd - AYE - Clementi Rd - Commonwealth Ave West - Boon Lay Way - Jurong East St 11 - Jurong Town Hall Rd - Jurong East Central - Jurong East St 13 - Jurong East Central

Added the Tampines Ave 4 section to help relieve Sv 21 during the peak hours. Tampines Ave 5/Simei Ave/Xilin Ave is the fastest way to get to ECP from Tampines Ave 4...

And chopped the winding route at Jurong Very Happy

hehehheh i saw the HKP want to make comment about my ZYX298

oh it is just SBS68 bus and it runs peak hours only too. i just din liked SBS using the number 68 for the bus. at any rate it is a feeder bus service so why they did not call it 298....

likewise for ZYX297. thats the equilavent of SBS37.

Joo Chiat Road from Changi Road could be too narrow for a bus to pass through. Also, the many vehicles parked along the sides of Joo Chiat Road is probably going to make it worse.

ZYXbus is already runnign semi express service 84 to connect Punggolianz to Marine parade tampiens and bedok in the fastest time possible.

once again ZYX84 route is:
Punggol int, does the usual rounds in the Punggol - TPE - Tampines ave 12, 9, 7, 2, Tampoines st 31, Simei road, Upp changi road 9express sectors. calls at selected bus stops like EXPO, tanah merah MRT, bedok new tonw bus stops), bedok south ave 1, (express), marine parade road (calls only at bus stops in the new town, including the VJC bus stop), Amber road, Mountbatten road, Fort road, ECP, Suntec city roads. wind here and there, raffles boulevard, Nicoll highway, Shenton way, Keppel road, WTC

VSOS have bene deployed on ZYX84. due to route duplication ZYX31 have been withdrawn since Jan 2004.

ZYX149 also fills in for ZYX31.
